John Arnold was a highly skilled and innovative British watchmaker of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries who did much to streamline and industrialize the production of his timepieces. Ernest Shackleton, Captain James Cook, and Dr. David Livingstone are just a few of the explorers who took his chronometers with them on their adventures. Today, the Swiss manufacturer Arnold & Son continues to produce exacting timepieces with classic, elegant stylings.

The brand new, in showroom condition HMS1 Royal Blue is the definition of true beauty and precise engineering. The splendid 18K rose gold case measures 40 mm in diameter and case height of 7 mm. The bezel is also crafted in 18K polished rose gold. This elegant case rests upon a hand-stitched brown alligator strap with an 18K rose gold pin buckle. Other features include a 30 m / 3 atm water resistance, a pull-push crown, a see-through sapphire crystal case back.

This timepiece features elegant and extremely beautiful translucent with Guilloche decoration royal blue-colored dial. Gold-tone hands and applied hour markers. This dashing timepiece possesses a hand-wound mechanical movement and is driven by Arnold and Son’s own proprietary A&S1001 Caliber with 21 jewels and a power reserve of 90 hours. There is a small seconds counter position at 6 o’clock.
