Bold stylings and precision controls make this a dynamic and highly practical timepiece. This self-winding automatic COSC-certified Chronometer is driven by Breitling’s Caliber 44B with 28,800 vph, 38 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve.

Its polished stainless steel case measures a robust 49 mm in diameter (excluding winding crown and pushers) and is 16.5 mm in height. Its bi-directional rotating bezel features a tachymeter and circular slide rule, which is sometimes called a “navigation computer,” and allows one to read minutes, seconds, and fractions of a second. With the multifunctional slide rule it is possible to make an impressive amount of airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times, and the conversion of miles into nautical miles or kilometers.

Other case features include a 100 m / 10 atm water resistance, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown. The watch rests upon a black Alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle.

The bold black-colored dial showcases a date window below 12 o’clock, luminous dots on the hour, applied polished steel index hour markers, and luminous polished steel hour and minute hands.

The chronograph / stopwatch functions include a red-tipped central seconds hand that can keep time up to 1/4th of a second, a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6. There is a small seconds subdial at 3.
