This Oris Big Crown Moon Phase timepiece is in new, unworn condition and it includes its original boxes and operational manuals.

Urbane, charming, and possessing a practical sophistication in every regard, this watch has a self-winding mechanical automatic movement with 28,800 vph, 17 jewels, and a 38-hour power reserve. It is driven by Oris’s 581 caliber, which is based upon the ETA 2688/2671 caliber.

The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter (excluding the oversized screw-down winding crown) and is 14 mm in height. The gold-plated stainless steel fixed bezel delivers a lovely contrast in color to the dial and case.

Other case features include a water resistance to 100 m / 10 atm, a screwed-down stainless steel mineral glass case back that is open to show off the movement, and a brown leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.


Beneath the sapphire crystal with an interior antireflective coating one encounters a classically styled and dynamic silver-colored dial. Beneath the 12 o’clock position there is a moon phase indicator, and the indices and hands feature Superluminova C3 luminosity. There is a date subdial at 9 o’clock, a day of the week subdial at 3, and a convenient second 24-hour time zone subdial at 6.
