Here’s a watch for steppin’ out in style. It’s a quite curious case of Bell & Ross letting their bling flag fly, but we love it, and, as a limited-edition timepiece of only 999 pieces produced, it can prove to be a challenge to obtain.

With the black-colored background of the dial, the luminous gold-tone hands are all the more prominent. Large attractive subdials tease the eye with a small seconds counter at 3 and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 9. There is a date window hiding out between 4 and 5 and a finely rendered minute track upon the outer edge.

The unique bronze case measures 41 mm in diameter, 14 mm in height, and rests upon a black calfskin leather strap with a deployant clasp. The black aluminum top ring sports a convenient tachymeter scale. Additional features include a solid case back, screw-down winding crown, 100 m / 10 atm water resistance, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

As a self-winding automatic watch, under the hood we encounter the Bell & Ross BR-CAL.301 caliber (ETA 2894-2 base), which delivers a 42-hour power reserve, beats at 28,800 vph, and possesses 37 jewels.
