Since its founding in 1846, Swiss watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin have earned more than 4,300 awards and received the greatest number of patents in mechanical watchmaking.
This new Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer is a case study in luxury watchmaking. The splendid stainless steel case measures a 41 mm in diameter with a 12.5 mm in height. The case of this watch rests upon a brown rubber strap with titanium inset and features a deployant clasp buckle with push buttons release. The watch sports a 200 m / 20 atm water resistance, a screw-down crown, a solid case back and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
This dashing timepiece possesses a self-winding automatic movement and is driven by Ulysse Nardin’s Chronometer-certified Caliber UN-26 with 28 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The elegant brown-colored with metallic tint dial showcases applied silver tone Arabic numerals, beautifully-designed hands with luminescent tips. There is a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, encompassing magnified date window, and a convenient power reserve indicator at the 12 o’clock position.
