Watchmaker Daniel Roth founded his watchmaking company in 1989 in the famed Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. In his career, Roth assisted Audemars Piguet in creating super-slim movements. He also designed beautiful dials for Breguet. His gorgeous Daniel Roth watches with multiple and impressive complications are famous for all possessing the same shape. The Daniel Roth company has had workshops in Le Sentier and Geneva, and, in 2000, they were acquired by Bulgari.

With its double-ellipse stainless steel case that is at once round and rectangular, this Daniel Roth Chronograph personifies sophisticated stylings and good taste.

While the case measures 38 x 40 mm and 11.3 mm in height, it rests upon a charming custom handmade ostrich strap with a stainless steel tang buckle.

The blue strap is a lovely match for the guilloche-patterned dial, which sports printed Roman numerals as well as silver tone steel luminous arrow-tipped hands.

There is a date window nestled between 4 and 5 and there is a small seconds counter at 9. Chronograph functions include a 30-minute counter at 3, a 12-hour counter at 6, and, in addition, there is a center seconds hand with Daniel Roth insignia counterweight.
