Bell & Ross

Founder: Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo founded the company in 1993.

Country: France

History: The company was founded by two friends Bruno Belamich and Carlos Rosillo in 1993. One year later the first automatic chronometer Space 1 was worn in space. The French bomb disposal professionals had the pleasure of acquiring the Bell and Ross Bomb Disposal Type watch that was anti-magnetic and used specifically by the disposal unit to disarm bombs. In 1997, Bell & Ross set the world record for the most water resistant watch Hyrdo Challenger, with a resistance of 11,000 m or 6.8 miles. In comparison the the deepest point in the Pacific Ocean is the Mariana Trench with a depth of 11,033 meters. By 2000, Chanel Horlogerie owned a large amount, but not the majority of the Bell & Ross stocks. In 2002, the company made the first jumping hand on the power reserve of a watch. The BR 01 model was created in 2005 and it paid homage to the style of airplane watches.
