Let's first consider the silver-tone dial with its energetic design sensibility. 

At 9 we have a small seconds subdial in restrained grey, while at 3 there is a 60-second chrono counter in dashing blue with a 60-minute counter in handsome dark grey at 6.

In bold red there is a large central 1/10th of a second hand that is easy to read while at 6 we have a classically positioned and appealingly shaped date window.

As a limited-edition watch, only 1,969 pieces were produced, making it a challenge to obtain. The Zenith El Primero 4052 B caliber can be found beating at the heart of this minor masterpiece. Most conveniently this self-winding automatic movement delivers around 50 hours of power reserve. 

The stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter, 12.7 mm in height, and rests upon a new alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle. 

Additional features include a push / pull winding crown, 100 m / 10 atm water resistance, and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
