The independent
watch brand – FORTIS was founded by Walter Vogt in 1912. The company had
successfully implemented an automatic winding concept invented by John
Harwood into the production of automatic watches in 1926. Today, FORTIS

This vibrant and solid Marinemaster
model has very clean and ucluttered design. The convenient day of the
week and date apertures are located at 3:00 o'clock position. All steel
uni-directional rotating diver's bezel is embelished with large ridges
on its side for easier operation. The black insert is decorated with
blue markers and diver's scale. The stainless steel case of this
Marinemaster measures 42 mm in diameter and is 13.5 mm in height. The
solid case back is protected by a screw on metal plate.
The black legible dial is decorated
with printed blue Arabic and luminous dots. The dial is protected by an
anti-reflective and anti-scratch sapphire crystal. The sword-shaped
hands are coated with luminous paint, Central sweep second hand. Black
rubber strap comes with convenient satin finished stainless steel
fold-over clasp.
