handsome Seamaster celebrates the legacy of a unique Omega timepiece
going back to 1957: the Railmaster, which was built specifically for
railroad employees or others who found themselves working near
electrical fields. True to that spirit, today’s Railmaster timepieces
are still resistant to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. Other unique railroad features here can be found on the brushed “black jeans” dial.
Its
stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter and sports a screw-down
winding crown, 150 m / 15 atm water resistance, and domed
scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
As
a self-winding automatic timepiece and master chronometer, it delivers
certified accuracy that you can depend upon, as well as a 55-hour power
reserve. It is driven by the Omega co-axial 8806 caliber.
Brushed
stainless steel hands and recessed hour markers are filled with beige
SuperLuminova for easy viewing in low light. In addition, there is also
an attractive beige center seconds hand. The “black jeans” dial is clean
in design and offers Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 as well as a
minute track and hour markers designed to draw the eye inward.
