For twenty-five years Bvlgari has successfully blended the unexpected with the sublime in their Aluminium line of timepieces. With regard to the Ducati Special Edition timepiece, this is one of only 1,000 watches produced.

Roman Maison partnered with legendary Italian motorcycle outfit Ducati to craft this watch’s fabulous bold red dial and unique indices, which are a nice contrast to the black subdials. Luminous hands and dots make for easy viewing in low light.

There is a small seconds at 3, a date window between 4 and 5, and chronograph functions include a 12-hour counter at 6, a 30-minute counter at 9, and an attractive center rhodium-plated seconds hand with a black tip.

The aluminium and titanium case measures 40 mm in diameter, 11 mm in height, and rests upon a black rubber strap with aluminium inserts and an aluminium tang buckle. The aluminium bezel is covered in black rubber emblazoned with Bvlgari’s icon logo lettering.

Additional features include a DLC-coated titanium case back that is personalized with the Ducati logo and the limited-edition number, a DLC-coated titanium winding crown, a 100 m / 10 atm water resistance, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The self-winding automatic mechanical manufacture B130caliber beats at 28,800 vph and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.
