As a self-winding automatic chronograph watch, it is driven by the IWC 79320 caliber, which is based upon ETA 7750, beats at 28,800 vph, has 31 jewels, and delivers a 44-hour power reserve. 

The stainless steel case covered in rubber clad measures 44 mm in diameter, 15 mm in height, and rests upon a black rubber strap. Additional case features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a 120 m / 12 atm water resistance. 

A volcano black dial is printed with luminous indexes. There is a day and date window conveniently positioned at 3 o’clock and there is a small seconds subdial found at 9. Chronograph functions include a center seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 12, and a 12-hour counter at 6.
