Since 1868 Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has been creating masterpieces of haute horlogerie that combine precision engineering with exclusive design. Over the years, their straightforward, no-nonsense style has appealed to adventurers far and wide—especially pilots. 

The supremely elegant Kleine Da Vinci is the smallest of the Da Vinci models by IWC. However small it may be in size, it triumphs in its mighty fine offerings.

With its innovative at the time Jaeger LeCoultre 630 MechaQuartz caliber with chronograph function you don't have to bother with any winding. Its mechanical chronograph sports a quartz-controlled stepping motor that allows for measuring times up to 12 hours via the subdial at 3. 

In addition, you can measure times via the center seconds hand, the 30-minute counter at 9, and the small seconds subdial at 6. Note the date window discreetly nestled between 4 and 5.

Upon the lovely white dial there is a fascinating moonphase indicator at 12 as well as a discrete minute track running along the outer edge.

The stainless steel case measures 29 mm in diameter, a slim 8.3 mm in height, and rests upon a stainless steel bracelet with a hidden folding buckle. 

Additional features include a solid caseback, a screw-down winding crown, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a 30 m / 3 atm water resistance.
