Swiss manufacturer Breitling was founded in the Swiss Jura in 1884 by L�on Breitling, a man dedicated to crafting precision chronographs and timers. Today, Breitling remains a leader in creating sturdy, reliable, and high-performance instruments that are especially beloved by those involved in air/water sports and commercial aviation. In addition to their own celebrated movements, in 2017 Breitling began coproduction of movements with the Rolex-owned brand Tudor. 

The navigation timer, or, more efficiently, the Navitimer by Breitling gives you something most special: Its bi-directional rotating bezel features a circular slide rule, which is sometimes called a �navigation computer,� and allows you to read minutes, seconds, and fractions of a second. 

With the multifunctional slide rule it is possible to make an impressive amount of airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times, and the conversion of miles into nautical miles or kilometers.

But this is only the beginning.

You will find a small seconds counter at 9 and chronograph functions give you a 30-minute counter at 3, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a red center seconds hand that can read up to 1/4th of a second.

This is all made possible via the self-winding automatic manufacture Breitling 01 caliber, a movement that beats at 28,800 vph, possesses 47 jewels, and delivers a convenient 70-hour power reserve. Most thrilling of all, you can view this accurate chronometer-certified movement in action via the screwed-down exhibition case back.

Beneath the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal you will see that the dashing silvered dial with dark grey subdials also gives you a date window nestled between 4 and 5. 

The stainless steel case measures 43 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm in height. Additional features include a push / pull winding crown, 30 m / 3 atm water resistance, and a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
